dc.description.abstract | Bihar is regarded as a labour exporting state. Most of the people leave it because there are very less or no opportunities available here. Agriculture on the other hand on which almost the whole state is depended upon is on a decline. The village of Kabauli Ram was selected by the government of India under the scheme “Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana” for its sustainable and cultural development in the year 2014 but no progress has happened since. The scheme is put to continuation after the central government came back to power. There are a lot of technical advancements that has happened across the country and states like Punjab and Haryana are talking full advantages of these advancements, remain totally unknown to the people here in the state of Bihar, due to the low level of general awareness among the people here. This project tries to study and bring out the various socio economic issues of the village and provide a base for setting up social sustainability in the whole community. Means to regain livelihood through skill development and community participation are the key areas which are aimed to be facilitated through architecture. The revival of the existing isolated building and temple and the ignored and not so well to do economic activities so that it results into a harmonic community. The people hence develops an emotional bond with the place that is the its acts like a magnet and not let the people leave but stay back and contribute. | en_US |
