dc.description.abstract | The Resettlement Skill Development Center is a crucial resource for people and families who have been displaced due to conflicts, natural disasters, or economic difficulties. This architectural thesis proposes a center that offers various training programs and resources, helping these affected communities gain new skills for employment and self-sufficiency. The center focuses on skill development in agriculture, aquaculture, and construction, which brings multiple benefits such as boosting the economy, ensuring enough food for everyone, promoting sustainable practices, and facilitating technological advancements. The main goal is to improve people's lives in a comprehensive way and build their resilience. At the Resettlement Skill Development Center, individuals and families can access tailored training programs that cover their specific needs. For example, they can learn about sustainable farming techniques, crop diversification, and efficient irrigation methods in agriculture. In aquaculture, they can acquire knowledge in responsible fish farming practices and effective management of aquatic resources. The center also provides construction training that focuses on eco-friendly building practices, emphasizing resource efficiency and innovative techniques. By developing these skills, the center aims to drive economic growth by equipping people with the right competencies. This leads to more job opportunities, entrepreneurship, and thriving local economies. Additionally, the centre’s emphasis on sustainable practices helps address environmental concerns by conserving natural resources and reducing harm to the environment. Moreover, the Resettlement Skill Development Center acts as a hub for embracing new technologies and fostering innovation in agriculture, aquaculture, and construction. This prepares participants to adapt to the changing landscape of their respective industries. Ultimately, the goal of this architectural endeavour is to empower resettled communities, enabling them to build resilient livelihoods, achieve self-sufficiency, and contribute to sustainable development. The Resettlement Skill Development Center serves as a beacon of hope, promoting empowerment and positive change for those who have experienced displacement and adversity. | en_US |
