dc.description.abstract | The project aims to revitalize the existing bus stand in Thrissur, a key commercial hub, by enhancing its functionality and addressing its current state of disrepair. Through the integration of various social and economic spaces, the project aims to transform the bus terminal into a dynamic activity hub that goes beyond its conventional role. The proposed addition of a commercial complex on the available land will not only generate revenue but also contribute to the upkeep and efficient operation of the bus terminal. By adopting this integrated approach, the project aims to encourage greater public transportation usage, reduce dependence on private vehicles, ease traffic congestion, and foster a more sustainable and safer urban environment in Thrissur. | en_US |
