The architectural thesis project, explores the concept of creating a permeable and socially integrated orphanage and primary school complex. Orphanages, as unique typologies, play a crucial role in providing care and education to children in need. However, traditional orphanages often face challenges related to limited opportuni ties for social integration. The project aims to address these issues by reimagining the orphanage typology and extending its activities to the surrounding society. By creating a permeable en vironment, the project seeks to equip the children with the necessary skills and con fidence for their future beyond the orphanage walls. The design concept focuses on fostering a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, where the children feel connected to the larger community. The complex incorpo rates residential wings, educational facilities, communal spaces, and outdoor envi ronments designed to encourage interaction and collaboration with the surrounding society. The school component of the project not only imparts knowledge but also equips students with essential life skills for their personal and professional growth. This architectural thesis project also strives to set a precedent and serve as a mod el for future orphanages in the country.en_US
