dc.description.abstract | The project explores the significance of wellness and the healing power of nature in a resort that integrates Ayurveda and local architectural style, known as "Kath Kuni." The thesis aims to address the growing need for retreats that offer solace and rejuvenation amidst the demands of modern life. By embracing the therapeutic qualities of nature, the resort design creates a healing environment that fosters well-being. The integration of Ayurveda principles and practices further enhances the holistic approach to wellness. Inspired by the local architectural style, the resort design respects the site and context of Tehri while providing a unique and authentic experience for guests. The resort seeks to establish a sanctuary where individuals can reconnect with nature, find balance, and experience tranquility in a culturally rich setting. The combination of natural surroundings, Ayurveda, and traditional architecture in the resort design aims to offer guests an opportunity to embark on a journey of self-discovery, rejuvenation, and inner peace. | en_US |
