This project report focuses on the design and development of a transformative girls' education complex in Ladkui, Sehore, Madhya Pradesh, catering specifically to tribal girls from the indigenous tribal communities under the "Kanya Shiksha Parisar" initiative by the Tribal Welfare Department. The proposed complex aims to address critical social and environmental challenges while promoting holistic well-being in a learning environment. The project emphasises the importance of creating educational spaces that foster physical, mental, and emotional well-being, particularly for marginalised tribal communities. It aligns with sustainable and vernacular design principles to promote a sense of connection to nature, cultural identity, and community. The complex is envisioned to provide comprehensive education, vocational training, and support tailored to the unique needs of adolescent tribal girls. The architectural design will be women-centric, incorporating elements that promote self-confidence and empowerment, such as dedicated spaces for leadership and creativity. Key design principles include vernacular architecture inspired by traditional Bhil design, sustainable practices in energy and resource management, and a focus on holistic wellness through spaces that foster a connection to nature and community. The report details essential facilities within the educational complex, including residential hostels with secure and comfortable living spaces, dining halls providing nutritious meals, staff quarters, recreational areas, and modern classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Specialised facilities such as science laboratories, computer labs, and sports facilities will be integrated to ensure comprehensive educational support. The aim of the project is to create a safe, supportive, and empowering learning environment that addresses the educational challenges faced by tribal girls in Madhya Pradesh. By leveraging design principles that promote well-being and sustainability, the proposed complex seeks to contribute to the overall development and empowerment of tribal girls, fostering intellectual growth, personal development, and cultural pride. This report outlines the vision, design approach, and anticipated impact of the proposed girls' education complex in Ladkui, Sehore.en_US
