One of the most polluting industries in the world, fast fashion has come under fire for its detrimental effects on the environment and society, including excessive waste and unethical labor methods. In response, there has been a growing movement towards sustainable fashion, which emphasizes ethical production and consumption practices. The thesis explores the design and development of an experiential sustainable fashion hub in Noida, aimed at revolutionizing the fast fashion industry through the integration of circular economy principles. The project seeks to address the environmental challenges posed by fast fashion by creating a multi-functional space that promotes sustainability in both fashion and architecture. By leveraging circular economy principles, the hub will facilitate the reuse, recycling, and upcycling of fashion products, thus reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact. By fostering collaboration between designers, manufacturers, and consumers, the hub aims to create an integrated closed-loop system for fast fashion in Noida. The proposed design focuses on creating an immersive and educational experience for visitors, emphasizing the lifecycle of fashion products, and encouraging sustainable consumer behavior. The design prioritizes flexible spaces for design, production, retail, and education, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing within the circular fashion ecosystem. The architectural design of the hub integrates circular economy principles, emphasizing resource efficiency, material reuse, and disassembly potential. This thesis contends that circular economy-inspired sustainable fashion hubs can provide a viable solution to the social and environmental issues associated with quick fashion. By offering a model for Noida that other emerging cities might adopt, the project helps ensure that the fashion industry has a more sustainable and accountable future. The ultimate objective is to develop a more ethical and sustainable fast fashion sector that satisfies customer demands and wants while reducing overproduction and overconsumption, which will have a good effect on society and the environment.
