Adolescence is a key period for the mental and social development of a person. In the current scenario, statistics show that 35.6% of deaths of people aged from 15-39 years occurred due to suicide and violence (Indian Council of Medical Research et al., 2017). The bottom factor for many of these actions causing self-harm comes down to stress. In the rapidly growing society, there is no place for the youth to take a breath and relieve their stress. They have no time to explore themselves. ‘Prevention is better than cure’ they day. This thesis aims to boost mental health in youth by providing a space for them. This design is a proposal for a space where the youth can be themselves. The goal is to create a support system for youth by giving them a place where the community can get together and the youth can spend time for self- exploration. The design has tried to achieve this through the integration of an inside and outside concept. Keywords: Youth, Architecture, Community, Well-beingen_US
