Intermodal transport hub at Bibinagar, Hyderabad

Abstract

Hyderabad is rapidly expanding, and study has revealed a discrepancy between present transportation management and the architectural design of key transit centers. This project focuses on user-friendly design, making switching between means of transportation easier and more fun. The hub, which is modelled after the successful multi-modal hub in Bhopal (Rani Kamalapati Station area), would be adjusted to Hyderabad's unique requirements. It will be critical to the city's expansion plans between 2031 and 2041, enabling growth in all directions: Shamshabad in the south, Kandlakoya in the north, Ghatkesar in the east, and Patancheru in the west. The hub, which is strategically positioned to interact seamlessly with existing transportation systems, will improve connection and minimize travel time, allowing for faster and more efficient mobility around the city. By merging numerous forms of transportation in one area, the hub will alleviate many of today's transportation difficulties, allowing for more efficient travel inside Hyderabad and throughout India. The design will focus comfort and ease, increasing commuters' daily travel experiences. Overall, the project intends to build a seamless, integrated transportation network that supports Hyderabad's growth, improves urban mobility, and establishes a new benchmark for India's metropolitan transport hubs. This project leads the knowledge and issues concerned with the designing a transport hub with multiple modes and infinite kinds of users, to streamline cleverly and make it functional.
