Fashion and architecture share a dynamic, identity-driven nature—both beginning with the human body and extending into space and movement. India’s rich textile heritage and rising global presence demand institutions that balance tradition with innovation. Visakhapatnam, with Brandix India Apparel City, offers a strong industrial base and scope for industry-academia collaboration. The proposed campus responds to this context with a student-centric, pedestrian-friendly, and ecologically sensitive design. It fosters creativity and interaction through shaded walkways, outdoor studios, courtyards, and water elements. More than just a place for education, the campus reflects the evolving spirit of fashion—flexible, expressive, and future-forward. This thesis presents a model for design education rooted in local context yet open to change, supporting regional growth and contributing to the future of India’s fashion sector.
