Abstract: The Star Fort stands out as a compelling military architectural evolution of the fort to adapt to the elevation of arms and ammunition that have led military engineers across civilizations and epochs to derive this form. The thesis delves into the architectural significance of star-shaped constructions, shedding light on their historical contexts, structural systems, and cultural implications. Drawing upon a multidisciplinary approach encompassing architectural theory, historical analysis, spatial analysis, and geometric principles, this study elucidates the underlying factors driving the adoption and proliferation of the star shape in fort architectural typology. From military fortifications to religious edifices, the star shape manifests in various forms, each imbued with symbolic meanings and functional advantages. By exploring case studies and doing a comparative study spanning different cultures and periods, it seeks to unveil the intrinsic beauty, mathematical elegance, and practical utility inherent in star-shaped constructions. The thesis advocates for a holistic approach to conserve Manjarabad Fort by combining architectural conservation, community involvement, and sustainable tourism. It stresses the fort’s potential as a heritage asset and a symbol of regional pride, urging urgent attention to its preservation. Keywords: Star-Shape construction, architectural significance, spatial organization, geometrical principles, military fortification.
