In order to meet the increasing demands of the changing scenario, national as well as international, the stadium in Mumbai would be a great opportunity to implement programs to promote excellence in sports. A sports stadium is essentially a huge theatre for the presentation of heroic feats. From such a combination of dramatic function plus monumental scale ought to flow powerful civic architecture.
