dc.description.abstract | A bridge connects locations; it is represented and remembered as such. Bridges interests because of their conceptual load related to separation and connection. The bridge plays a crucial role in the urban development. It not only serves the city a special way but also incites the format development of river's sources and ends. Bridges are both symbolically and physically important landmarks contributing to the identity of the settlement, or cities to which they belong. Their fundamental objective is to provide a crossing over a gap, such as a river or steam, valley or road, and give access to the other side. Exhibition centre have become an important institute for knowledge exchange and cultural education, trades and business. Exhibition and exposition are the public displays of industrial or commercial products or of fine arts. Although the terms are used interchangeably, in strict usage an exhibition is a display of such products or arts for a short period; an exposition is for a longer period and usually on a larger scale. Both exhibitions and expositions may be regional, national, or international, and may show only the products of a single industry, such as furniture or leather, or all products of human endeavor. The project is a part of Sabarmati river development that is ongoing multidimensional project aimed at environment improvement, social upliftment and urban rejuvenation. The River Development reclaims the bank of Sabarmati, making the entire stretch of river publicly accessible. The project provides more than ten kilometers of uninterrupted pedestrian promenade on each bank and public ghats for a direct access to water. | en_US |
