Waterfront tourism park at Pondicherry

Abstract

My project is about how I am going to design a water front tourism park with the source which I have with me and also by using my knowledge gained from my college ―School of planning and architecture, ;hopal‖. =esigning my project ―waterfront tourism park‖ is all about creating a building which recreates tourists and also local people. If we say recreation place, surely it should to make people comfort and happy in all aspects.so our project contains many features which makes our recreation place modern and unique. Background and project details are the main part which shows all places near our site and how much distance will be from one place to our site. Details of the project gather all the details which a project needs. As the project site is located at Pondicherry, my design part deals with both French and Tamil architecture. From French architecture I took its grandness and from Tamil architecture central courtyard. Merging both this features waterfront tourism park is designed. Features which are included in our recreational park are multiplex, open food court, retail shops, mangrove and hillock parks, event place, swimming pools, guest rooms and viewing tower. Data analysis carries the data about the site which consists of size, climatic analysis, vegetation, topography. Before developing design a reference should be done. So for that a case study has done. Two types of case study should be done for knowing about other buildings which resemble our project they are live and secondary case study. Landscape is one of the major properties in this design which is of two type namely indoor and outdoor landscape. So by growing trees and plants considering all vegetation property comes under this landscape. Design output is all about gathering all details of the project, background, data analysis, case study, landscape and designing it in both French and Tamil style.
