dc.description.abstract | Differently abled people has different types of challenges in their daily life. Some incidents effects people life slowly or suddenly. People has to to adopt their life according to the problem. In these situation Assistive Devices can really help differently abled people or person who has problem in doing daily life activities. As a Designer I started with visiting hospitals, NGOs and other places to understand different problems due to disability. I have identified one basic problem that people who has problem in their hands they can’t eat properly or they has to dependent on others. People may suffer with the hand problem due to various reason like Spinal Cord Disorder, Polio, Paralysis etc. So this project is about Designing a Feeding Assistive Device for people with hand impairment. The solution which I design is a Manual Powered operated by the Arm movement and a spoon is attached to have food. The solution is designed with the help of human centric design approach. | en_US |
