dc.description.abstract | The National convention is annual congregation of architects and interior designers of the country. This convention focused on the theme “Design for masses” where professionals presented there experiences and thoughts on the same. The national and international speakers deliberated on the various sub themes like Design that matter to masses, Design that caters to masses and Design that celebrates masses. These speakers also interacted with students and professional largely students in small group discussion at altogether different forum “Punchat”, these were going parallel to other sessions. Ar. Made Wijaya from Indonesia discussed about hospitality design and compared how the Indian architecture had influenced the design thinking world over and where it is today. Ar. Pradeep Sachdeva presented his works of Dilli Haat and Garden of senses. Ms. Aparna Piramal Raje discussed about her book and experiences on design of office spaces for top of CEO’s. Ar Kees Spanjers also discussed his works and shared his experiences, Mr. Aman Nath shared his experiences with Neemrana resorts. Works of students, Competition entries were also displayed. | en_US |
