Abstract

My thesis project in NIT, Patna which is an institute of MHRD Govt. of India, consist of schools of engineering, architecture with their labs and studios, administration, convention centre, hostels, residential and supporting facilities. In this campus design, main focus is on overall environment of built-up and open spaces. The campus design is as per GRIHA rating for sustainable environment. Design concept is evolved from educational village therefore, my main focus is on site planning then, farther detailing on academic zone and detail design of architecture, chemical engineering departments, central library and teaching blocks.
