Housing for all- an urban district and area based approach towards sustainability

Abstract

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Annette Rudolph-Cliff, Chair of Design and Urban Development, of Technical University, Darmstadt Germany, has been the international expert and key speaker of the workshop. Prof. Annette delivered lectures on each topic and showcased many projects of related topics. Participants were also given few assignments that we have completed during the workshop. As part of assignments, I have presented works on two topics; 1. Housing typologies of northern region of India 2. Area based sustainable housing design strategies for Johri, Dehradoon. Overall, it has been good experience to learn practices of abroad by international expert and developed academic network with the participants of various academic institutions of India.
