dc.description.abstract The project is about development of the site on the basis of given requirements keeping in mind the location and the cultural background of the space to be built. Hence, the collaboration of architecture styles to achieve a unique solution is being worked upon. The study of forms of architecture, the study of site condition, context, value and culture of regions, the amalgamation of two different cultures through spatial planning and visual appeal is seen. The architecture style of Kerala is unique to its region and hence its reach is tried to be expanded through collaborating it with contemporary style, use of different building materials etc. The existing building on the site being a heritage building built in colonial style already carries a character within the site which is tried to be respected but at the same time keeping the styles unique to themselves. Also, the spaces visually direct towards the existing building with utmost importance to retaining of green cover on site and relocation of trees. So the site represents the colonial style building that contradicts with the structural style of designed building but is still focused upon through spatial planning along with height considerations that doesn’t overpower the site. en_US
