dc.description.abstract The Government of Maharashtra has proposed the project “Tribal Cultural Museum and Research Centre” in Nagpur with the aim of conserving, promoting, and propagating the living culture of Vidarbha (North-Eastern Region of the Indian State of Maharashtra) and particularly those of Gondwana Land. A Tribe consists of a group of people linked together by social, economic or blood relations who live in the same area and share the same language, culture and history. A museum is a building where objects of historical, scientific, or artistic significance are stored and displayed. A Tribal Museum is an institution which houses artefacts depicting lifestyle, history, and culture of various tribes. en_US
