dc.description.abstract | Odisha has a rich culture of maritime trade but unfortunately it is diluted. Like a drop of paint in a bucket of water, the essence has percolated to each and every part of the state but it nowhere dense enough to assert its presence. This thesis is a novel attempt to re concentrate the essence of the lost cultural history in a place from where the culture will reemit its essence. The most suited area for this proposal is the Bali Jatra ground which used to hold maritime trade exhibitions and now holds the largest open trade fair of Asia. This thesis aims to use latest tools in computational design to create the best in class interventions for creating a unique form and educational experience for the people through open and closed public spaces. Design story narrative is driven through use intense machine learning and bio mimicry for creating the site planning and field simulations have been used along with climate data to evolve the form of the experience center. | en_US |
