This architectural thesis focuses on designing key buildings for a Freight Village multi modal logistic park, including an administration block, food court, lodging facilities block, warehouses, and a flatbed factory. The objective is to create functional and visually appealing structures that meet the specific needs of the logistics park. Through site analysis and understanding of logistics operations, the thesis aims to develop innovative architectural solutions that integrate seamlessly into the park's overall design. Emphasis is placed on efficient and sustainable buildings that optimize space utilization, workflow efficiency, and user experience. The design process involves research, conceptualization, and iterative development. Factors such as spatial organization, circulation, orientation, materials, and sustainability are considered. Modern construction techniques, technology integration, and sustainable design strategies are explored to achieve energy efficiency and minimize environmental impact. The thesis also focuses on creating cohesive spaces that harmonize with the surrounding environment and incorporate amenities to enhance user comfort. The outcomes provide comprehensive design proposals for the buildings within the Freight Village, contributing to the field of architecture by offering practical solutions that promote functional efficiency, sustainability, and a pleasant user experience. This thesis aims to inspire architects, urban planners, and stakeholders involved in the development of logistics parks, providing guidance for architecturally compelling structures that support the objectives of the logistics industry. By integrating design and functionality, it seeks to enhance the efficiency and visual appeal of Freight Village multi-modal logistic parks. |
