The literature study delves into the psychological benefits of nature-based therapy, the importance of community support in recovery, and the transformative effects of empowerment on survivors of violence. The project proposes the development of a holistic healing environment that integrates elements such as social housing, water trails, and communal spaces. Through an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from architecture, psychology, and social work, the design process incorporates case studies, data analysis, and stakeholder input to create a nurturing and empowering environment.
