This thesis proposes the design for a new Government Medical College in Panchkula, Haryana, India. The project aims to address the growing demand for medical education and healthcare services in the region.
The design prioritizes the creation of a functional and sustainable learning environment. It will incorporate innovative teaching methods and technology to foster a collaborative and dynamic learning experience for medical students. The college will encompass various departments, including classrooms, laboratories, simulation centers, and a well-equipped hospital.
Sustainability principles will be a cornerstone of the design. The building will utilize eco-friendly materials and construction techniques to minimize environmental impact and promote energy efficiency. The design will also consider passive cooling and natural lighting strategies to create a comfortable and healthy learning environment.
This project aspires to be a model for future medical colleges in India. It aims to not only provide exceptional medical education but also to contribute to the overall healthcare infrastructure of Panchkula and surrounding areas.
