Ever since the beginning of time, the discovery of light followed by the introduction of languages as a medium of communication in human civilization, people have not been content to see events as disconnected and baffling. They have craved an understanding of the indispensable order of the world they live in. Today we still yearn to know why we are here and where we came from?
Humans have a tendency of trying to make sense out of everything, as our ancestors observed celestial bodies for years to study their movements and draw interpretations, navigate through seas and even predict future. This is called Pattern recognition.
The underlying idea about Artworks, Mythical stories or philosophies about religions and scientific theories is that they assume that we are rational beings who are free to observe the universe as we want and to draw logical deductions from what we perceive.
When an astronaut travels in the vacuum of space, time starts bending in funny ways, paradoxes begin to pop up everywhere. We too, here on Earth are surrounded by paradoxes all the time. Questions about death, afterlife and the movement of time have baffled scientists and religious believers alike and they have exactly opposite take on them.
Artists and Architects have romanticized the ambiguity of death by pressing detail of human involvement in the event and portrayed an abstraction of human feelings into a physical environment that reflects on the activity and emotions in a sensitive way to approach narratives.
This study intends on portraying the hysteria of the last seconds left of consciousness. |
