Abstract:
Department of youth culture and art Bihar proposed a modern contemporary museum
with the aim to redevelop the lost pride history and culture of Bihar through a modern
built structure, which will be a landmark and iconic structure which represents the
development of modern Bihar with remembering the glorious past of this region.
This thesis emphasis to design a modern contemporary museum which will be iconic in
terms of scale, proportion and design, with emphasis on museum services user experience
and circulation. The built form which will be unique in existing urban fabric, which will
allow a user to connect with the glorious past, through present with future, offer
experience to every user group. The museum which will not only for scholars but also
act as a place for passive recreational space.
