Abstract:
In order to foster the harmonious equilibrium of physical, mental, cognitive and spiritual well-being while regenerating the natural world, architecture practice is focused on the art and science of constructing built environments with socially aware structures and materials. Human health, well-being and comfort are core considerations of design that increase a foundation rooted in practices of sustainable and regenerative design. The implementation and aim of achieving Wellness in Offices and workplaces through design would be the focus of my thesis. Incorporating elements of spatial layout, natural light, green spaces, ventilation, passive techniques etc in my structure to achieve physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing of an individual in a workspace. I aim to design an environment with factors that can actually trigger healing in a stress inducing environment, and focus on the correlation between health and the built environment.
