Abstract:
This thesis paper presents a comprehensive design proposal for a Biodiversity Interpretation Center (BIC) at Aralam Farm in Kerala, India, with the objective of enhancing biodiversity awareness among visitors. The conservation and understanding of biodiversity are essential for maintaining ecological balance and fostering sustainable development. The proposed BIC design integrates architectural, landscape, and interpretive elements to create an engaging and educational space. The center incorporates sustainable design principles, ensuring harmony with the natural surroundings. It features exhibition galleries, interactive displays, audiovisual presentations, and outdoor trails, providing visitors with diverse and immersive experiences.
